MOST EPIC: Time to teach em how to stunt in Wintergrasp! SAS vs SOD! *PG-13?*
8Wintergrasp is one of those matches where you can't really STUNT too hard on winning ... unless you are the ones ATTACKING! Attacking is a lot harder than defending the base and letting the clock run out. These fools stacked their team with 11 Healers and 4 Tanks and STILL chickened out for the first team fight and went to the Broken Temple in the beginning instead of engaging us at the Sunken Ring. They obviously knew they were weak! Well, they probably thought we would chase them around the map in a circle jerk fashion, NOPE! Not with MESO at the helm of command, I make the call to go right down the middle of the map and engage them at West Spark, which I just knew is where they would be at because they were running from the team fight.
They didn't have any choice by the time we all got there and we slowly fought through the lag and started wiping them, while also making sure they did not build anything there! Very good job there, they did get some rank too, so we had another fight on our hands when we had to start pushing out of there towards the Broken Temple!
We had our Vehicles up against their Vehicles, we had Rank 2, and judging by their only Catapults, they did not have Rank 2 at this point. We slowly but surely wiped them out of Broken Temple and then went to the Northwest Wall to start taking out their Cannons and the Northwest Wall! It was called to shoot over the Inner West Wall and hit the Main Entrance directly and we had several Demolishers doing this beautifully.
The fun part is, we only had two Workshops capped, so we only had 8 Vehicles slots for a while, later on we sent a team to Sunken Ring to recapture it so we could get 12 for a bit. From there, we just had to keep the Northwest courtyard clear, and prevent them from building, while taking any time while they were wiped out of there to shoot over the Inner West Wall and hit the Main Entrance.
We kept the pressure on, stopped them building there and then finally got the Main Entrance destroyed, then I was on some HERO ISH and didn't have many cooldowns left, but I started my 20 second DASH to click the ORB inside the keep to finish out the match! Thank you for each and every HORDE that followed the calls and made this match possible, and proves once again, outsmarting your opponent will always win out in the end when executed properly :)
P.S. Not sure what rating this would get, but it's definitely NOT rated G for Everyone! :D
