Mother 2 Gameplay - Part 7 - Pyramid and Deep Darkness
The adventure continues with Scarabia. The pyramid's a long section and kind of like the Fourside sewers. No place to save or recover except for a few lucky magic butterflies :(
To make matters worse, Ness gets homesick at the worst possible time! Luckily the status effect wasn't too bad and wasn't affecting him most of the time :)
The good news is that at level 65-70, the enemies are quite manageable. Ness, Paula, and Poo are capable of dealing tons of damage through regular and PSI attacks. Add to that Poo's ability to heal and recover PP and it's possible to last forever in the section :)
The best part though has to be Jeff. After acquiring the Heavy Bazooka, he's dealing almost half of the group's total damage. Not only does it deal guaranteed damage of at least 160 HP to any target of choice, it deals guaranteed additional damage to side enemies :DDDD
The Guardian General battle pretty sums up how over-leveled the team is at this point!
Dungeon Man was a great addition to the team. Too bad he only lasts for a short time. After that, it's off to Deep Darkness. It's annoying that there's no way to travel quickly through the swamp :(
Have to keep taking damage throughout the waters. And then's there Belch who tries again to make trouble. Probably wasn't expecting to get hit by that Bazooka and Starstorm combo :D
