Mother 3: Team Lucas vs. Pigmask Colonel & Masked Man
50A two-parter video to raise the emphasis of the climax of Mother 3's Chapter 7: The longest chapter in the game. Here's a rundown of things so far:
The house of Ionia, the 2nd-to-last Magypsy and the most well-known one, is located in the mountains beyond Agrilla Pass, or Stumble Pass, a route to which Kumatora recognizes. As soon as the team enters the Pass, what do ya know? The stumble and trip, somehow losing the Jar of Yummy Pickles they were delivering to Ionia.
Luckily Boney found the pickles quickly, and the team continued to Ionia's house. When they arrived, she was very happy to be given the pickles, especially since they would be the last thing she would eat.
She gives the team the Waters of Time, which would speed up the time-frozen vines that are covering the entrance to Chupichupyoi Temple, where the 6th Needle is located inside.
In this video, Team Lucas must first deal with the white-caped Pigmask Colonel and two Pigmask Majors, who was working with other majors and their commander to try and break through the vines.
Then, with no breaks in-between, said commander, the Masked Man, decides to fight you himself. At first he strikes Lucas with his own PK Thunder yet again, but thanks to the Franklin Badge he had at the time, the lightning only got reflected back at MM, instead. So then he starts attack you directly, kicking off the boss battle.
Being very mysterious and very badass, he attacks the party with sword strikes, Shield Killers, more PK Thunders, hand beams, and the occasional PK Love. The latter case being ironic given his seemingly heartless nature. Boney can't figure him out through his smell.
After the long battle, the Masked Man flees, with the Pigmask heading out, too, allowing the party to now get inside the temple. Using the Waters of Time, the vines covering the entrance rapidly age: First they grow buds, then said buds bloom into flowers, then the flowers wilt and disappear. Finally, the vines turn brown and rot, with the vines covering the temple entrance completely gone.
