I managed to avoid a car coming into my lane during a commute home on my motorcycle last week. The driver of the car assumed the far left lane was clear and did not look before coming into my lane. Repeated use of the horn was ineffectual, but I avoided contact thanks to my "spring" theory and staying in the far left third of the lane.
