Movie Review: the Monuments Men
I was a historic marathon the other day. From #WW2 to 2016. First up, #themonumentsmen a good historical film that will remind you what the Nazi's did, they didn't just kill people they didn't like. They wanted to whip out everything, and when they started to loose, they turned tales and ran, but not before having the "if I can't have it no one can" attitude. You don't just whip out a culture by just killing it's people, you remove thier entire presence off the face of the Earth. And Art is one of those lasting memories people can leave behind. Next was #thefinesthours staring New Kirk, another good film that leaves you on the Edge of your seat, and you don't have to wait hours for it to start. The main event is less then a half-hour from the opening credits. Finally #PatriotsDay a more recent historical film, that did bring tears to my face during the after math of the bombing. And it will make you cheer when the good guys win, because we did win. In fact we won in all three of these films. The real Nazi's were defeated, and yes the did succeed in destroying thousands of years worth of European history, and murdered millions of people, they didn't win. History was saved, and it remembers them for the monsters they really are. The Captain who didn't listen to his engineer may have died, but the majority of his crew survived even though everything was stacked against them. And the new evil in the world was vanquished when a city pulled together. All these films are Bs. And all are on Turner channels, and the movie ones.
