eyo! I haven't seen the movie yet, but it's probably good. To be honest I actually haven't even seen the musical to begin with, but I've been in love with the music ever since my friend Dave (you should know him by now!) showed it to me in high school. I originally wanted to do a medley, kind of like I did with Phantom of the Opera, but this show has stand-alone songs that work perfectly well on their own. They don't work so well on trombone, however! This track is just piano and voice, so figuring out how to make three trombones sound like a piano wasn't the easiest... you'll note the high Bb which of course is a part of the accompaniment so you don't even get to show off when you play it :p.
In other news, it's the day of valentines here in the states. Is it in other countries too? Hm. I'll be spending it making almond milk banana bread, and I think that beats going out and maybe ruining your relationship with a crappy night and/or gift :D. I will be going out tomorrow to get discount chocolate. Mwahaha.
