Today marks Round 4 of the Middle of the Pack Racing League (MPRL) Spring into F4 Championship for 2024 as brought to you on iRacing, sponsored by PT Actuator! We shall be taking a look back at all of the racing action which occurred on Wednesday 1st May, bringing it to you as if it were live!
For the final round of the Streetfighters Cup, the hybrid street-road course of Circuit Gilles Villeneuve welcomes our drivers. Spanning 2.71 miles and consisting of 14 corners, the Montreal city circuit is known best for its “Wall of Champions” on the exit of the final corner which has claimed the race of many a motorsport legend. Add to this its aggressive chicanes; hairpins; and long straights, and you have the perfect venue to crown our Cup champions!
In the PRO class, consistency from Tanner Dibble at Belle Isle has moved the DNA Motorsports driver to the top, albeit only by 10 points over ITD West’s Jaden Calloway. With Jason Landry only a further six points behind who within the trio shall claim the Cup?
In the PRO-AM class, Samuel Bernardy appears to have established himself as an early favourite with a growing lead of 28 points over Julian Jones. Will it be a smooth run to the Cup for Bernardy today? Or can Jones interrupt his rival’s charge to glory?
In the AM class, 58 points separate the top nine as led by Jared Kelly who has moved to the top for the first time this season. No one has yet to take the lead and maintain it, but could Kelly be the first to do so today, and in doing so, claim his first MPRL Cup?
How will the first half of our season conclude in Canada? There is only one way to find out!
