Mr Jefferson Is The Tornado - Life Is Strange, Episode 5 THEORY
292I have another theory about how Life Is Strange may conclude.
Firstly, it is quite possible that Max can rewind or transport other people (along with herself) using her time manipulation powers.
Her Focus ability works by sending her consciousness back to her body at the point in time when a given photo was taken. This power could be dangerous beyond the unexpected consequences of backwards time travel, as Max could conceivably kill someone by focusing them back into a photo they're not in. This may be how she defeats Mr Jefferson in Polarized (Episode 5).
Leading on from this possibility, if Mr Jefferson's mind (without a body in the photo/past to occupy) disperses into the surrounding Arcadia Bay, then his incorporeal spirit may have both given Max her powers AND set up the catastrophic impending tornado.
It's a rather out-there theory, but I believe I argued it well (and had fun putting together the diagrams), and I hope you enjoy it.
