Similar settings were used on both software: 30Fps, 100% quality, full frames.

On msi Afterburner 2.3.1 I am using MJPG format.

I think Msi Afterburner is a fantastic software but it has couple of problems first it is not as easy to use as fraps and new users might have problems with it, second and this is really significant it does not support every software, there are a lot of cases when you start a software but msi afterburner can not recognize it and you will not be able to record it. However msi afterburner is free and the recording looks really nice on Youtube you will not be able to tell a difference.
