Much Ado About Goblet | Crusader Kings 3 - Royal Court DLC - Part 29
315Crusader Kings 3 continues and to try to cheer himself up, Sultan Fadl requests that someone makes him a lovely goblet for his Royal Court. A simple task, you'd think, just commission someone to do it, give them a while and then they arrive with the finished piece. But no, not in this case, because this goblet is seemingly very complicated to make and involves many story events!
The artisan making it lacks inspiration, we have to choose whether to invest in some fancy metal or bankrupt the Sultanate and there's a dedication too, so it becomes quite involved!
Away from the tale of the goblet we make a plan; to have a Holy War with the Nubians! To that end we invest heavily in our fancy new trebuchets, making sure that we have at least 100 of them at our disposal. We also have a few little warm-up wars first to grab a few counties along the coast.
Also there are some unexpected divorces, we appoint a Court Jester and Fadl becomes even more detached from reality.
However, things don't end well for our game as a whole as Crusader Kings 3 decides to crash upon entering the year 1230. Hopefully I can get it fixed by hitting it with a big enough digital hammer of fixing things but we will have to wait and see!
