Sometimes, Popeye is even black, and has his own animation to....express that? Which I completely forgot was built into that character someone made for a Saturday Morning Cartoon Crossover game more than a decade ago. Maybe Akuma is Irish, or Ken is old?
The bolder color palettes you see, that use black as a baseline color from the bottom up similar to hand-drawn cartoons, are done by me. MOST were done almost 13 or more years ago when a LOT of these characters were originally downloaded. I had a LOT of free time when I lived in Gulfport Mississippi, so I did a LOT of my own color palettes out of boredom. that was at least a solid two to three years of just seeing what works and what does not.
