Okay, first off, happy birthday to Mewtwo. The timing of this character's release was on point. Anyhoo, Mewtwo is quite a lot of fun to play as. So, you'll probably see a bit more of her (this Mewtwo is based on the Genesect movie version) on this channel....

Now then, onto the opponent.... Hoo boy, where do I even start...?

Maleficent is pretty broken. I'm not gonna beat around the bush with that fact. Her projectiles are insanely fast. Making them pretty hard to get around without some kind of mobility option. Like Mewtwo's teleport.

Next, some of her attacks have infinite priority on them. And even in some cases, NO hurt box during the moves.

Her supers are pretty much on par with the rest of the set. Mostly more ways to fill the screen with projectiles. (Though, they can be interrupted by hitting her.) As a desperation attack, she'll transform into her dragon form when low on health. Though you can KO her before then....

But, the thing that puts her on a whole-nother level of frustration are her minions.

First there's her crow, Diablo, who attacks whenever Maleficent gets hit by a physical attack. The only way to make him stop showing up, is to hit him. Which is MUCH easier said than done, since he flies by so fast.

And worst of all.... The mooks. These mooks are incredibly powerful for what they are. They take quite a beating, she can summon them very fast. And, they can put you into some really janky situations. Such as your character turning around to face them. While Maleficent pelts you with projectiles. Or, they can even combo into her attacks, taking a HUGE chunk of your HP away.

Overall.... Maleficent needs a LOT of work. Though, I doubt she'll get those fixes anytime soon.... Mewtwo however, makes a fine addition to my collection.

The stage.... I'm sorry, I'm not sure who made it originally. It's a conversion of Clone Zero's stage from KoF2000. If anyone knows who made it. Please tell me.
