This is my entry for the Munchausen Challenge 2012. This event is a celebration of story-telling and the power of imagination, where you are assigned a Munchausen-like story to create and, in the end, you challenge the next participant with an equally incredible story. If you want to know more about it, these are the full rules:

As requested by Sir Phillibus Minimus, the Italian condottiero Polentata de' Castagnacci tells the story of how he spent 9 months in the belly of "Boom-Tan-Jay" the world eating giraffe, where he discovered the best recipe for avenging the earth, and also the solution to his long-standing problems with a Portugese Man-o-War which had absconded with his wife.

Then, Polentata asks Sir Eugen Evans, frier of chickens and taster of oddities, to tell him about his 20-year stay among the Tasmanian quails, disguised as one them to study their customs, and to explain how that stay led to the extinction of that species, the construction of a full size replica of the leaning tower of Pisa made of bread, and his marriage to two bearded women - all in the same day.
