0Finally I beat this game lol. I will say this game is a perfect example of a bad story. There is literally no narrative hook, all the characters are completely bland with no internal conflicts to resolve such that they literally had to cram in backstory at the end just to give them something to do. But worst of all the dialogue feels so childish it makes me wonder if the writers are even capable of setting up a meaningful conflict dyad let alone resolving it. The only redeeming factor is the gameplay loop, which still isn't perfect as there were a lot of pathing problems and clearly wasn't designed for micromanaging large groups like we had in the final level. It could have definitely also benefited from having more enemies types maybe even a couple more puzzles but even so I don't know if it could have saved this game from feeling repetitive. Overall this game was pretty disappointing, I'd skip it personally.
