To begin my new series of wii hidden gems I will explore the entry Mushroom Men: The Spore Wars. It's basically a callback to the collectathon era of the late 90s to the early/mid 2000s, with games like the Banjo games, Jak and Daxter, Sypro, Donkey Kong 64, Ty the Tasmanian Tiger, Psychonauts, and arguably some Mario games. It became a genre that was outdated upon this game's release. Should it have been a more famous entry that might have even revitalized the genre? Find out here.
