Welcome ladylads and gentlelads to the twentieth episode of the Tiberian Sun Unit Preservation challenge run. In this episode, we intercept a certain mutant operative and raid their base of operations in order to regain the Tacitus! While there are some great speedruns of the game out there, this will be a poor imiatation (as the NOD campaign is far more flexible for my flimsy attempts at speed strats). That said, I won't be doing a whole lot of restarts in order to get as good a "score" as possible because it will be far funnier to watch me fail to succeed than it will be to see me micro perfectly. Overall, this is going to be a bit of a nostalgia trip for me, and I want to bring you along for the ride as I share my passion for what is one of my top 3 favourite games of all time. The purpose of the challenge is to help me get back into the mindset of younger-me in an effort to re-experience the game without the kind of RTS knowledge I have today - i.e., I want to play the game as if I still believed that building more than one refinery is a galaxy-brained strategy.
