Welcome ladylads and gentlelads to the sixteenth episode of the Tiberian Sun Unit Preservation challenge run. This will be the inaugural episode of the NOD campaign, where we set out to prove that Kane does, indeed, live in death! While there are some great speedruns of the game out there, this will be a poor imiatation (as the NOD campaign is far more flexible for my flimsy attempts at speed strats). That said, I won't be doing a whole lot of restarts in order to get as good a "score" as possible because it will be far funnier to watch me fail to succeed than it will be to see me micro perfectly. Overall, this is going to be a bit of a nostalgia trip for me, and I want to bring you along for the ride as I share my passion for what is one of my top 3 favourite games of all time. The purpose of the challenge is to help me get back into the mindset of younger-me in an effort to re-experience the game without the kind of RTS knowledge I have today - i.e., I want to play the game as if I still believed that building more than one refinery is a galaxy-brained strategy.
