This is exactly what the Striker can do with the combination of Range and Extended Mag. While the Damage proficiency makes the gun hit harder, it is not necessary for the Striker as the shotgun itself has a high ROF and still manages to do the job should the first shot doesn't kill.
In my opinion damage is more for low fire rate shotguns as you must make the first shot count and that's not the case with the Striker.
Some people claim and swear to god that I'm using a modded controller but that's not the case. I possess a good trigger finger and while not as fast as some other people's I can still dominate semi-auto weaponry such as the MK14 which is my favorite rifle in this game.
