I compare the sound between the MXL770 and the Boya PVM 1000.
Sorry, I keep saying MX770 in the video, I was meant to say MXL 770.
Also, my PVM 1000 has been cut shorter so I could get a louder volume from the mic. It has a greater chance of getting popping sounds as a result, so I need to manage the foam sock on it a little more to prevent it. MXL770 is about twice as heavy, but nicer to look at. I still don't know which I like better yet.
The PVM 1000 has an option to use an AA battery. I don't use it, I use same 48V phantom power adapter for both of them instead.
