"My Ancient Laptop" Playing: Goldeneye source 4.2
0For those wondering about my video capturing techniques I have this to say. I originally filmed this back in Saint Patrick's Day of 2016. At this time I did know about some video capturing devices that could run on the computer. However you can see how much this thing was struggling just to fun the game, I think the video capture software would have made another Blue Screen.
For those wondering 'Why do this?' here is my answer. On the laptop I tired to play Half-life 2 to see how it would work. To be honest it worked better than expected. I figured for fun I would try to do the same my favorite mod of the engine. Also I wanted to mess with people. My over all plan was to hook a microphone up to it and play the game outside. I would tell people I was doing it and see how many would believe me. Anyways here is a little behind the scenes for you. Though it does not show up in the video, this took quite a few tries in order to work properly. I am happy that this computer was able to hook up to my Wi-fi however steam had many problems connecting. Oddly enough I could connect to Chrome just fine. If you have any other questions fell free to ask me in the comments. I'm sure there are a few I have missed. Before I go I have one last thing to say. Next time you play a game that's lagging like crazy imagine doing this, or playing about 65% of Half-Life 2 in these conditions.
