"My Ancient T.V." Playing: Warlords Atari 2600
One of the more unique entries for Atari 2600. The main reason being it's the only one I know of that supports up to 4 players. Due the scheduling problems we where only able to get 3 players but I say close enough. You may wonder "How can this be a 4 player game when the system only has 2 controller ports?" It's pretty simple, the paddle controller used for this game, is actually 2 controller attached to the 1 port. I can say the hardest part of doing this was finding 2 working paddle controllers. These controllers are quite notorious for breaking down. However they can be cleaned and sometimes that fixes the problem. As for the Atari itself, I think working units are starting to become rarer, but from my experience, the are easy to fix. The unit used in this video dosn't have an on/off switch, and the unit originally would not turn on. However there is a little numb I can fit a screw driver into to flip the switch. As for the rest I was able to repair with with Scotch tape and Aluminum foil. Luckily there was just a bad connection that needed to be re-enforced. If it was a circuit problem I wouldn't know what to do. I think I've talked enough. Until next time, keep having fun.
