In this episode of Skul the Hero Slayer, I finally get around to doing another Omen 3 run! Omen runs are very inconsistent, mostly because of the Mercury Hearts strategy. Mercury Hearts are a way to get around the Omen 3 debuff, but the amount of carefulness they require of you make it hard to maintain them across the entire run. With the right skull and item choices, you can make it feasible though. With that in mind, you also want the correct Omen choices to make sure your tradeoff with the Mercury Hearts is worth your while. The skulls of choice are Recruit and Water, both are passive fighters with long range attacks. Will these two together be able to overcome the Omen challenge?
