In today's Skul the Hero Slayer video, we'll be playing the Swordsman skull! I've not had a lot of kind things to say about the Bleed status in skull, which in turn means I also don't have a lot of good to say about our old pal Swordsman here. I believe he's one of the skulls who has been through the most changes: he started out as a mixed damage skull with emphasis on the physical damage, but for one patch cycle (1.4) actually got it swapped to have more emphasis on his magic side, and then with 1.5 he got changed AGAIN to be the bleed skull, and they completely removed his magic damage. The 1.4 variation of Sword was actually his strongest, and he's been on decline ever since. With some of the other statuses being buffed besides bleed his stagnation has only become more apparent. However...what if you ignored his bleed damage, and focused more on his strengths? He does a lot of DPS with certain abilities...that sounds like prime teritory for crit items to me. So, with that said, let's try it! Will crit items Sword show that he isn't down and out quite just yet?
