Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge is the second studio album by American rock band, My Chemical Romance. Released in 2004, the album is a concept album that tells the story of a man and a woman who are separated by death in a gunfight where he goes to hell only to realize by the devil telling him that his lover is still alive. The devil says he can be with her again if he brings the devil the souls of a thousand evil men, and the man agrees to do it. It features a unique blend of punk, emo, and pop influences, and includes hit singles such as "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)" and "Helena". Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge has been widely acclaimed for its high energy, emotionally charged performances, and powerful lyrics. With its iconic imagery and passionate fanbase, this album remains a cornerstone of the alternative rock scene and is a must-listen for fans of the genre.

The concept behind Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge and the Demolition Lovers is generally accepted; however, I don't think it is as publicized or appreciated as much as I believe it should. At least, not at all compared to how the concept behind The Black Parade is praised in comparison. The story behind the Demolition Lovers is a tragic tale fueled by love, revenge, and obsession.
