221In this video I talk about how my recent break up has affected my life as a content creator and gamer. Mainly focusing on how in order to distract my mind from the hardships of life I have turned to doubling down on content creation. Basically I would rather be productive than sit around and weep. I think that's something that in my experience has really helped me get through hard times. My ability to hone in on an objective.
If you or a loved one are seriously struggling with any addictions though don't be afraid to reach out for help. I struggled with a nicotine addiction for 10 years, and completely understand how hard it is to get off certain substances.
I also take this as a chance to let people who plan on getting into content creation know that it's not all sunshine and rainbows. You can be dealing with a strong dopamine hit that a lot of people never experience, and the fear of failure or losing access to that dopamine can have a HUGE strain on someone mentally.
