Update, despite everything seeming to go wrong, I did end up getting my XP rig up an running. Forgive my computer ignorance in this video. I didn't deem this footage as good enough to put on my main channel, so I am sharing it here. Again, I realize this isn't a gameplay sample, unless you consider it a gameplay sample of a day in my life, and my luck with technology.


My recent PC gaming samples have all been run on this "failed" build of which I moved across country before I finished. I no longer live in Arizona, and relocated on the fly to be with my family in one of those southern states where people don't like spicy food, and most of the Mexican restaurants suck. Southwest food, you spicy bast*rd, I love you.


As for specs that matter:
Windows XP Home edition sp3

Pentuim D 820 2x2.8ghz
4 GB DDR2
Radeon HD 4770 GPU
Enermax 450w PSU I had from an old Alienware Computer in 2005
