Unfortunately my favorite book is on fire, and I should probably do something about it. Thankfully what I used to put it out wasn't water, and it's something called Novec 7100 (methoxy-nonafluorobutane). It's a chemical used to put out fires in places like museums and server rooms because it evaporates without damaging things like paper, and doesn't mess up electronics.
