I got this beautiful Gameboy Color the other day with a Gameboy Pocket. Both look super clean but the buttons on the Gameboy Color are hard to push. I open her up to clean the D-Pad Rubber contacts along with the metal contacts on the electrical board with some Isopropyl Alcohol.
