This is the redux version (basically 2.0) of my 2011 GZDoom mod Spawn. Alongside numerous fixes and lighting adjustments, it is notably harder than the original 2011 release. As you can see, I die a lot, lol. It's much less forgiving now, even on the medium or normal difficulty setting. Not as hard as Spawn 2: Descent of Canopus, but there's still not much room for error.

There are things that I could possibly improve upon still. It possibly needs more health packs - you really need to do some secret hunting in order to get by. The HUD is a bit funny in the video, but this is due to the source port, not the mod itself.
