My First Named Warhammer Character – Illuminor Szeras Painted!
3This was a big one! In this video, I paint my first ever named character, the legendary Necron techno-wizard himself, Illuminor Szeras. It’s a big step up from the usual rank-and-file, and wow... this model is fiddly. So many bits. So many wires. So much floating science magic.
But despite the challenge, I had a blast painting this model. The pose is awesome, the diorama-style base is full of creepy story vibes, and the whole thing just feels like a proper centrepiece for my growing Necron force.
I’m still a beginner, so you won’t see studio-perfect painting here, just a regular hobbyist trying their best and having fun along the way. If you’re thinking about painting this model, or just want to see how another newcomer tackled it, this one’s for you.
