Running a floppy disk from my childhood, Microsoft GW-BASIC that came with an old Kaypro computer, on an Athlon XP machine. The disk still reads like it was just made.
I've gone a long way from using GW-BASIC to using Win32 in C/C++ (and soon releasing a small app in x86 ASM!).
The drive used here is an Epson SD-800 dual floppy drive, which appears occassionaly on eBay.
For some reason, GW-BASIC doesn't want to run under DOSBox; it crashes. It works fine in Windows XP NTVDM though.
The glitched out characters in the result of a VRAM malfunction in the trash-picked Geforce 6200 card I put in this machine, and not a problem with the program.
