WELL OF COURSE YOUTUBE WOULD MESS SOMETHING UP.
Youtube sharpened the video for some reason, so ignore the jaggies that are all over the place.

Was rendered in two passes, three if you count the raw video as a pass, and then it was all put together in Sony Vegas.

1 - Teapot pass
2 - Shadow pass
3 - Video pass

The reflections come from 6 images taken of the room, turned into a "skybox".
The shadows also come from those images, as I set them all to illuminate the scene.
So, as a result the reflections are convincing.


All of this works like a charm when you figure out how to just do it properly.
