0GTFO is a four player cooperative first person Sci-Fi survival horror shooter where players work together to explore and extract valuable artefacts from a vast underground complex that’s crawling with hordes of terrifying monsters.
Currently in development by 10 Chambers Interactive, which is helmed by one of the creators of Payday 1 & 2, GTFO takes Payday’s cooperative first person multiplayer gameplay in a very different direction. In the game you and three other players take on the role of a team of scavengers who attempt to infiltrate a huge underground complex full of grotesque monstrosities, with an aim of surviving and escaping with valuable resources.
As in Payday, you’ll be able to plan your expedition and equip loadouts, and once you enter the complex cooperation and communication will be key if you want to stand a chance of surviving. The atmosphere and setting is a far cry from the bank vaults of Payday though – it looks and feels very much like you’ve stepped into an Aliens-esque horror movie.
The environments are eerily beautiful, but you may not get much time to admire them as the monsters are fast and can attack en-masse. You’ll need to keep your wits around you, especially as GTFO has an AI Expedition Director which controls the experience and makes for a different gameplay experience each time you play.
It’s a great looking game that will require nerves of steel and real teamwork to beat.
