0Echoes of You is a beautiful little narrative driven adventure where a widowed father solves puzzles and relives memories of his triumphs and failings as a single parent.
In Echoes of You you take on the role of a father who is looking back on his life and completing a journal, with an aim to make amends with his estranged daughter before she moves away. You clearly love her very much and have always tried to do what’s best for her, but she’s always grown up in her dead mother’s shadow, which is largely your fault.
Echoes of You sees you exploring your apartment and finding significant objects that cause you to relive past memories. During these memories you solve unique puzzles and learn more of the story of the father and daughter, with each memory then being jotted down in the journal.
It’s an interesting little game with a heartfelt narrative and some clever puzzle implementation. It’s a powerful story, and although the father is to blame for pushing her away, his heart is in the right place. Hopefully she can forgive him.
