3Alright, so by this point I really start to notice how the story isn't really gong anywhere or doing much beyond its original premise of just shut down the broadcast. I don't think I voice much of this on stream cause I'm always optimistic that I'm wrong and things will just get better, but nah, unfortunately this game just kinda stays the way it is the whole time.
But yeah, the story is pretty much Gordon tries to help the puppets by doing weird things and mostly talking about himself to them, where the only real benefit of this is they stop attacking you in those zones and vanish. I think the vibe they were going for was the end of a kids program where a character explains the moral of the episode to another character, but it came off less like that and more weird guy at the grocery store is saying some shit at you and you just kinda brush it off and keep shopping. Like the lessons were like sometimes we need to look at yourselves in the mirror (to a character that was missing its eyes until you give it to them, was not played as a comedy bit), don't bang shit with a wrench and just fix it (to a guy who that's like his whole schtick), I know that you're sad, but movie cowboys aren't real (idk what this one was about), then the non-optional one is just you playa shitty duet with a weird puppet or something. The sock puppet that's talking to you all game ended up being superfluous mostly at the end of it.
The game also didn't really seem to have an antagonist, which is weird to say. Like sure, the game has enemies, but they're not like purposely antagonizing you as much as they think they're hugging you or whatever, but nobody really works against you in the plot. They don't even really show who turned on the broadcast or why, honestly it could have just happened on accident in a studio with weird childlike puppets running around doing nonsense.
Honestly the whole thing left me more disappointed than I expected and a little frustrated after the fact. Oh well. Not sure why this game ended up the way it did, it had a lot of potential, and didn't really end up good or bad, just ok.
