In this update to my Friends Modular Alt Build, I switch out the mismatched sidewalk (that was limited to the pieces in the original sets) with some additional tiles. And boy, does it look good! I've already uploaded the new sidewalk instructions, along with an additional parts file, to its Rebrickable page. So, anyone that buys, or has already bought, the Friends Modular Alternate Build instructions. will also have access to these. I usually prefer Lego alternate build, but I think the few extra tiles are definitely worth it for this set!
For anyone interested, this Lego MOC alt build only uses 1 copy of the Lego Friends Central Perk set (Lego 21319) and 1 copy of the Lego Friends Apartments set (Lego 10292). The only other piece you need is any 32x32 baseplate. None of the original spare parts from the sets are needed. The instructions are an 812 page PDF document generated from Studio (both in normal and high-resolution) and can be found on Rebrickable.
