Fight against Buer using Frass weapons. My build isn't particularly strong. I'm very behind on gems and none of my soul cards are 4/4. Note that the Astral Gear you get from Starveil is significantly better than the Sakura Island pieces. Essentially, it's equivalent to a +5 Sakura Island piece. They also have additional secondary stats as well as having jewlery as part of the set. The set bonus gives +2 levels for a 6 piece set instead of +1 like with the 4 piece set of Sakura. So farming Starveil as soon as possible is important. However, to do so you'll need to farm Sakura Island, level up the Sakura pieces to reach the magic res required and then move onto Starveil.
Note that you don’t need to necessarily kill Beta AND Gamma. Killing them provides more buffs for the random element chosen as well as weakening her shield. In some cases you will have to kill 2 of the sub bosses to break the shield, while in other cases it’s 1 to break shield (as in this video). That being said, you could stack multiple kills to get a bigger buff if the random element aligns with your damage type.
Note that Buer, Beta, and Gamma all have randomly selected elements upon entering Starveil. The Buer shield and buffed element are also random. So it just so happened for this recording that Buer was wood element for an easier kill. Meanwhile if she were water element it would be tougher. There’s definitely a dps check as otherwise Buer will enter an infinite healing loop at the end with her purple orb pickup attack. No matter what, she will always heal to about 1 full bar even if you pickup all the orbs. Meaning you need to have enough power to burst her down from 1 bar between heal phases.
