Only 3 more days til the new year is done with, and I somehow forgot one of the most important anniversaries of all: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Clearly I should have done this when the new MLP movie about a new generation released on Netflix. Better late than never, I suppose...

So, if you are living under a resilient rock for most of the 2010's, 2011 was the year that Hasbro and Lauren Faust gave us the newest installment of the My Little Pony franchise, which included a toyline of very distinctly designed ponies and a flash animated cartoon... that became one of the biggest things out there. Absurdly long story short, the show was memed to heck and back by older people of a male demographic, and thus the Bronies came to be. Yes, this girl's cartoon and franchise managed to reach out to a whole other side of a demographic.
