This is my submission for the Minecraft Open Community Event sponsored by NVIDIA.

This build has been a real adventure for me, in what is my first ever build competition and im nervous and excited to share this with everyone.
I have been detailing my progress on Instagram, Twitter & Facebook over the past month and spent most of my Twitch streams doing this build for my community. Eventually ran out of time but put around 72 hours into the build and doing about 95% of the build by hand and without world edit. Thanks to those who did eventually help me get it working for the final few hours which helped to get some extra parts done by copy/pasting... THANK YOU.

The build was inspired by an imagine i seen of an ancient derelict fantasy castle, I have had made every room and added little details and Easter Eggs for people to find and explore along with spiral staircases to every area of the castle which will allow you to explore and adventure. So look out for the Treasure room, head over to the Dark Alley, stand upon your throne or even check out the Turtles. ( Don't ask it was inspired by friends!).Id like to have got more done but trying to juggle working full time, spending time with family and just gaming as a side hobby im hoping people can take my build and grow and expand what i have already started. I have really enjoyed building it and its certainly pushed my creative buttons to experiment with lighting and blocks. I have set the world seed to be at the base of the castle so that is where your journey will begin and as you head through the castle walls be sure to explore every area and head up to the Cherry Blossom Tree which takes central stage on the build which was inspired by my Wife as a gesture to her late grandfather.

I guess it goes without saying but i wanted to thank McMeddon for an absolute fantastic map i think i had a little to much fun at the start just decided what i wanted to build and where i wanted to build it! Im going to keep my world after i submit and continue to grow this world in the future as i find it so atmospheric and inspiring to build in. Thank you :)
