0Why do you play video games?
VideoGames and Online games expanded my world view. I know, it sounds kind of weak, but I lived in a small town and didn't know too much about the rest of the world. Meeting foriegners through WorldofWarcraft gave me more world perspective than anything before then. Sure, not all of it was true, there were those people that made up where they were from and such (can't blame them, hell I was lying about my age and hometown), but it sure as hell did a great thing for my curiosity and helped break the isolation of backwater AZ.
It's like reading a book. It tells a story and its interactive
"A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one." It is the same way with video games.
