This is one of several progress reports on a new arcade business that I am working on, The Game Grid Arcade in West Valley City, UT. It's located at the Valley Fair Mall next to the Red Robin Restaurant (the entrance is outside, not inside the mall).
We don't have all of the games in place yet and a couple of the older ones are having some minor issues but we opened today as a soft opening and will be getting things ready for the grand opening in a week or two. I've tried to pack everything I can into the small space - the 62" House of the Dead 4 takes up a lot of space but it's awesome. As is Blazing Angels (this version is much better than the console versions) with it's 42" screen. I am also happy to have The Act a very rare arcade game that is FMV but it is the best and most unique FMV-type game I have played as the interactivity is far greater than something like Dragon's Lair. I should be getting an air hockey table in later this week and I hope to soon bring in Asteroids Deluxe, Zaxxon and Phoenix (it's important to have some fun classics on hand).
