Hey everyone! Today I wanted to talk about my new vocal tic. It's REALLY WEIRD! Vocal tics are honestly bizarre and I wanted to provide some education about tics and tourette's in this video. My vocal tic has no meaning at all - it's completely random and involuntary but it's very strange. I've had a lot of weird vocal tics in my life but I think this takes the cake for one of the weirdest. It's not just a vocal tic - it's a complex tic meaning it pairs a sound with a movement as well. As a girl with Tourette's, I would love to spread awareness and education about my disorder, as I feel it is quite misunderstood in today's society. The media has made it out to be a swearing disorder only, which is far from true. I hope this video will educate you on Tourette Syndrome and tic disorders! Life with Tourettes can be difficult, but just know that we're the same as everyone else...except for the fact we tic like clocks! (:
