My Now-Playable Atari 2600 Jr. Console! - Showcase & Footage!
I got an Atari 2600 Jr. before I got my Boxed NES from the same place, and yet I never bothered to actually played it. Since I cleaned up my TV Cabinet, I decided to sort it out and get it working. Despite a missing switch-box, the Sega Mega Drive came through with its own switch-box and controller for maximum playability, and 2 hours later I got it to work! As this console supports Aerial Output only, I had to resort to pointing my Samsung Galaxy J1 towards the TV to capture footage.
I got all this for £30 at Magpies!
- 1 X Atari 2600 Jr. Console
- 0 X Atari Switch-Box
- 1 X Aerial/RF Wire
- 1 X Atari Power Cord
- 2 X Atari Joysticks
- 2 X Atari Paddle Pads
- 1 X Frogger; Boxed + Manual
- 1 X Pac-Man; Cartridge Only
These were included in the video but didn't come with the deal!
- 1 X Sega Mega Drive Switch-Box (to replace missing Atari Switch-Box; game visuals set to Channel 36 only)
- 2 X Sega Mega Drive Controllers (100% compatible with all Atari games that use the standard Atari Joysticks)
