A shortcut that is much more skill-demanding:
At 1:28, jump to the edge of the exit instead of the floor under it. Drop the laser cube precisely so that it will redirect the laser to another laser cube at the other end when it sits on the floor. Pass through the exit door immediately afterwards before it closes.
This demands extreme precision and speed but saves 30 seconds and 5 portals.
