My response to ColecoVision TAG by waspspray
It's essentially text to read, but it worths the effort.
The music playing during the video is another of my composition, based on Super Ghouls N' Ghosts for the SNES, it's the Haunted Graveyard music for the ColecoVision. It took me 2.5 days to compose the music, the .5 day was for the intro before the music loop.
You can download the music at my ( work in progress ) web site at :

My TOP 3
The main reason of this TOP 3 is theire overall cartoon effect on me : nice to watch graphics and animations, and cool musics and sound effects. It's like watching cartoon, but you control the action (sort of).
1 - B.C. Quest for Tire : The graphics are funny, the dead sequences are funny, seeing people (including me) moving their head like the prehistorical character does on screen is funny. Not an easy game at first but it let you play at the speed you want and the nice smooth scrolling effects and the various obstacles... it's great to watch and to play.
2 - Antartic Adventure : A racing game in a perspective view ( 3D ? ) with a penguin, fishes, and various obstacles. I like the originality of mixing cute animals and fast action racing.
3 - Roc'n Rope : A Konami game offering a plateform game with different caves, ennemies, obstacles and musics. It's a real fun to play, except if you prefer games like Galaxian.
But if you are more "hardcore", my second TOP 3 list should be more what you are expecting which include Burger Time, Lady Bug and Pepper II. Burger Time by Data East looks gorgeous on the ColecoVision. Lady Bug is really addictive because it's fast and easy to die quickly if you're not careful. Pepper II, same reason as Lady Bug, except that the maze can be invisible making it difficult to play if you don't remember well the mazes.
