In this video I describe the way I record unaccelerated videos on Linux, using FFmpeg, and detail the method of setting it all up if anyone else wants to try out the same way of recording. It's fairly long and fairly technical, but I couldn't explain it all any shorter!

Also, see the FFmpeg manual here:
http://ffmpeg.org/ffmpeg.html

Additional questions are always welcome!

For those reading this in the present, this was recorded before I upgraded my PC, and it will take a while to set it up for recording again. You can expect new MM2 videos this week, though.

If you're reading this far into the future, you might want to check out the upload date, as chances are that I am using a slightly different method for recording things now - who knows!
