In this tutorial, I give an explanation about how to record the screen by using FFmpeg on Windows.

Additional notes:
Some people seem to have problems getting the configuration utility of Screen Capture Recorder running (reportedly under Windows XP). The fix is to download the missing library from here:
https://github.com/rdp/ruby_simple_gui_creator
To download it, press the "ZIP" button near the top left of the screen. Then extract the contents into the configuration_setup_utility\jruby-swing-helpers folder.
