My SETTINGS in PPSSPP v0.9.1 On Android (FOR BEST GAME PERFORMANCE)
722The new version of PPSSPP comes with a whole new layout of settings, which may be confusing and so I hope to help you out by showing mine.
With these settings in PPSSPP for Android your games will run most smooth, and look at its best!
IF YOUR GAME DOES NOT RUN TRY THIS:
- Turning on/off "Buffered Rendering"
- Turning on/off "Fast Memory"
- Try an .ISO rom (instead of .CSO)
(Try each of these or both, but after turning on/of RELOAD your game!)
NOTE: Of course the option "SHOW FPS COUNTER" can be set to "NONE" to get rid of those green numbers in the upper right corner ^_^
NOTE: If you are running this on a multi core device you may want to try out the new "multithreaded" and "I/O on thread" options. If you are in luck it may speeds up the game, as for me it does absolutely nothing on my Xperia Z :(. I am still not using the frame skip function, it's just causing to much black screen flashing. Shame be course it speeds up the games nicely, but at the same time giving me a headache :(.
REMINDER! This emulator is still development and so not all games may run, and if they do they might not run smooth or fast at all, only a few games do run near 100%. But this beauty is still very young in its development, and I am convinced it will all smooth out in future updates.
