Myst V: End of Ages - Part One - Remembering the Journey - Part Seventeen
And so we've come to the fifth and last entry in the Myst Saga, End of Ages. This single-player game continues the story played out over the rest of the series of 5 games and 3 books, using a more up-to-date graphics engine than Uru runs on, though thanks to funding issues and deadlines, we are left with an ultimately unfinished game - the story is complete, but some of the ambient animations were never given the time to be finished properly...
We start in the mansion of K'veer in D'ni's Cavern - ancient home of Veovis' family, residence of Gehn, prison to Atrus. The Myst Book lies in its customary spot, but bound in leather straps by Yeesha - the Age is a painful memory of the losses she and her family have taken over the years. Shortly after exploring the place, we find a massive bubble, the sheen of which seems to reflect other places, and in the middle a stone device that's glowing... Calling to us...
It's at this point Yeesha shows up and explains that we are tasked, again, with the task of helping the Bahro.
