These are only approximations, YMMV

Room times/Strats, Left to Right, Top to Bottom:
1. 13.31 sec - Springball between platforms + Roll & Jump extend
2. 14.08 sec - Roll + Jump extend
3. 14.38 sec - Jump Extend after gripping left block
4. 14.48 sec - 1 Bomb
5. 14.52 sec - Sam's setup (no ledge grab)
6. 14.58 sec - 4 Bombs (Standard)
7. 14.87 sec - Sam's setup (ledge grab)
8. 14.92 sec - Bombing each platform instead of gripping them
9. 17.23 sec - Pause buffer (2 pauses)
10. 17.43 sec - HBJ from the acid, no ledge grab
11. 17.86 sec - HBJ from the acid, ledge grab
12. 19.64 sec - HBJ from the ground, no ledge grab
13. 19.94 sec - HBJ from the ground, ledge grab

Some takeaways:
* Springballing between platforms is frame perfect, don't do this
* Jump extend after rolling off is cool as hell but only saves ~half a second and is very difficult
* Jump extend after gripping the left block is even harder than the strat where you don't grip the block. In this video each beam shot is 10f apart. Might be possible with 2 precise jump extends but I couldn't get it to work.
* Sam's setup isn't as crazy as it looks, but requires some fast fingers. It's about the same speed as the 1 bomb or 4 bomb setup if you can avoid a ledge grab, barely slower if you can't.
* Sam's setup may have been independently discovered by CScottyW a few years later.
* Bombing the platforms is only about 20-30f slower than the traditional bomb spam methods.
* Pause buffer (with 2 pauses) is only about 20-40f faster than HBJing from the acid, even slower than HBJ with more pauses but still better than fighting Acid Worm
* HBJing is about 3.3-5.6 sec slower than the standard 4 bomb setup
* If you gain some height during your HBJ and can avoid a ledge grab, you can save ~20 frames.
